Circle Text Generator
Wrap text around a full circle — one line across the top of the ring and a second along the bottom, set the right way up rather than upside down, the way a stamp or a badge is made.
How to put text in a circle
- Pick the Circle shape. A second text box appears.
- Your text runs around the top of the ring; Bottom text runs around the bottom. Leave the bottom box empty for a top-only arc.
- Drag Diameter to make the ring wider or tighter, and Font size to change how much of the ring the letters fill.
- Use Letter spacing to open the words up so they sit evenly around the curve.
- Press Download PNG, with Transparent background left ticked.
The bottom half is set the right way up
Wrap a single line of text all the way around a circle and half of it ends up upside down. That is the flaw in most quick circle text tricks. This circle text generator lays the two halves out separately: the top line reads across the top of the ring, and the bottom line is set along the bottom arc the right way up, the way a rubber stamp or a badge is made. You can put a name on top and a date, a place or a tagline underneath.
Spacing around the ring
Each letter is placed using the width the font itself gives it, so wide letters take more of the arc than narrow ones and the word does not bunch up. Letter spacing adds the same amount to every step, which is what you want for the spread-out look on a seal or a stamp. If the text is running past the sides of the ring, either raise Diameter or lower Font size.
What people make with it
- Round stamps and seals — a name above, EST 2026 or a town below.
- Badge and crest logos for a small shop, a club or a market stall.
- Coasters, mugs, bottle caps, tote bags and stickers, where the artwork has to sit inside a circle anyway.
- Round labels for jars and candles.
Exporting for a coloured background
Keep Transparent background ticked and the ring drops onto any colour without a white square behind it — which is what you want on a mug mock-up or a coloured label. The transparent background page explains how to check the file really is see-through.
FAQ
Can I do just the top half?
Yes. Clear the Bottom text box and only the top arc is drawn.
Can I make the ring bigger than the preview?
Diameter is capped so the ring stays inside the canvas. To get a physically larger image, export at 1600 × 1000 or 3200 × 2000 — the layout is identical, just at more pixels.
Can I use a different font for the bottom line?
Not in this version. One font, one colour and one size apply to the whole ring.
Do I need an account?
No sign-up, no email, no install.
